Abstract We study the most general cosmological model with real scalar field which is minimally coupled to gravity. Our calculations are based on Friedmann–Lemaitre–Robertson–Walker (FLRW) background metric. Field equations consist of three differential equations. switch independent variable from time scale factor by change $${\dot{a}}/a=H(a)$$ a ˙ / = H ( ) . Attractor solutions in scalar-field cosmology
Models of cosmological scalar fields often feature “attractor solutions” to which the system evolves for a wide range of initial conditions. There is some tension between this well-known fact and another well-known fact: Liouville’s theorem forbids true attractor behavior in a Hamiltonian system. In universes with vanishing spatial curvature, the field variables φ and φ̇ specify the system compl...
متن کاملPrimordial and late-time inflation in Brans-Dicke cosmology
The basic motivation of this work is to attempt to explain the rapid primordial inflation and the observed slow late-time inflation by using the BransDicke theory of gravity. We show that the ratio of these two inflation parameters is proportional to the square root of the Brans-Dicke parameter ω (ω ≫ 1). We also calculate the Hubble parameter H and the time variation of the time dependent Newt...
متن کاملInteractions in Scalar Field Cosmology
We investigate spatially flat isotropic cosmological models which contain a scalar field with an exponential potential and a perfect fluid with a linear equation of state. We include an interaction term, through which the energy of the scalar field is transferred to the matter fields, consistent with a term that arises from scalar–tensor theory under a conformal transformation and field redefin...
متن کاملThe Consistent Result of Cosmological Constant From Quantum Cosmology and Inflation with Born-Infeld Scalar Field
The Quantum cosmology with Born-Infeld(B-I) type scalar field is considered. The corresponding Wheeler-DeWitt equation can be solved analytically for both very large and small φ̇(i.e, very small or large cosmological scale factor respectively). In the extreme limits of small cosmological scale factor the wave function of the universe can also be obtained by applying the methods developed by Hart...
متن کاملInflationary cosmology with scalar field and radiation
We present a simple, exact and self-consistent cosmology with a phenomenological model of quantum creation of radiation due to decay of the scalar field. The decay drives a nonisentropic inflationary epoch, which exits smoothly to the radiation era, without reheating. The initial vacuum for radiation is a regular Minkowski vacuum. The created radiation obeys standard thermodynamic laws, and the...
